Fusee is a personal budgeting app. It holds information about your money, so this policy is written to be read rather than skimmed past. There is no advertising, no analytics, and nothing about you is sold or shared for marketing.

What Fusee stores

• Your email address and name, from Sign in with Apple or Google, so your data can be found again on another device.
• A phone number, only if you choose to enter one during setup. It is never used to contact you.
• Your financial entries — spends, income sources, fixed costs, category limits, savings goals, and money you have lent or borrowed.
• A location attached to a spend, only if you turn Places on. It is a single reading taken at the moment you log that spend. Fusee never reads your location in the background.
• A contact's name, only for people you pick yourself from the system contact picker when recording a loan. Fusee cannot read your address book.

Where it is stored

On your device, and in a Supabase database owned by the developer of Fusee. Every row is stored against your account and protected by row-level security, so one account cannot read another's data. Traffic is encrypted in transit.

Reading bank alerts

Fusee can fill in a spend from a bank's SMS or push alert that you paste in yourself. Most alerts are read on your device by pattern matching, and that text never leaves the phone.

When the format is not recognised, the pasted text is sent to a server function operated for Fusee, which passes it to a third-party language model to extract the amount, merchant and date. That text is processed to produce the result and is not retained for training or any other purpose. Nothing is saved to your account until you confirm the filled-in form. If you would rather this never happen, type the spend in instead — the feature only runs when you tap Paste.

What Fusee does not do

• No tracking, no advertising identifier, no analytics SDK.
• No connection to your bank. Fusee cannot see your accounts or move money.
• No selling or sharing of your data with anyone, for any purpose.

Your data is yours

Export everything to a CSV file at any time from Controls.

Controls → Delete my account removes your account and everything stored against it — every spend, category, cap, goal, fixed cost, income source and lending entry — from the database permanently, in one operation. Nothing is kept, and nothing is recoverable afterwards. Signing in again with the same address starts a new, empty account.

There is also Reset everything, which clears your data but keeps you signed in. That one is for starting over, not for leaving.

Children

Fusee is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes and contact
